Hello Victoria! I had to comment as I too have removed a fingertip while food prepping (2 actually!) maybe it’s a cousin thing?! The first was pre-Thanksgiving, and potato peeler related, that was my left middle finger. The second was my left thumb. Both were about 1/4” from the end of the digit and I was unable to receive stitches as there was nothing to stitch back together (a complete excision). I’m happy to report that both digit tips regenerated successfully, including the nail. Sarah😘
